How it works

The Unicode standard contains over 140,000 characters — including mathematical symbols, letterlike characters, and styled letters that look like different fonts. CopyFont maps your regular letters to these Unicode equivalents.

Does CopyFont store the text I type? +
No. All font conversion happens in your browser with JavaScript. The text you type is never sent to any server. When you close or refresh the page, it is gone entirely.
Does CopyFont work offline? +
Once the page has loaded, the font conversion works without an internet connection because it is all client-side JavaScript. The Google Fonts stylesheet requires a connection on first load, but conversion itself does not.
