Welcome to the CopyFont Blog

CopyFont started as a single page: type text, get 40 Unicode font styles back, copy and paste. That's still the core of the site, and it always will be. But over the last few months the tool grew into something bigger, a font library, a bio builder, a username generator, a whole workspace of Unicode utilities, and along the way I kept running into questions and details that didn't fit anywhere on a tool page. That's what this blog is for.

What this blog actually covers

Three things, realistically:

Who's writing this

CopyFont is built and maintained by one person, not a team or an agency. I'm a motion designer by trade, which is honestly how this whole project started: I got tired of switching tabs to find a working fancy-text tool for captions and bios, and building CopyFont turned out to be more useful to other people than I expected. This blog is written the same way the tool is built: directly, without padding it out for the sake of length.

What's next

New posts will show up here as they're written, no fixed schedule, just when there's something worth actually saying. If there's a specific Unicode or font topic you want covered, reach out, that's the fastest way to get it written.
